So had our big mid-season taper meet at the University of Minnesota this weekend, and I already am going near life-time bests in my events. I went a 52.04 in the 100 free, 1:58 in the 200, 5:21 in the 500, and 18:38 in the 1650.
Now that the snow is here also, finding it hard to get out on the bike...but J-Term is almost here, and with class only 8-10, I will be fine for a few hours!!

Actually, global warming could send us into an ice age. As the ice caps melt, it actually lowers the average temperature of the entire ocean because of ocean currents (ice doesn't move anywhere quickly, but water does).
However, the trade is that because of "greenhouse" gases, hot air gets trapped inside the earth. Hot air rises, so the upper level atmospheric layers warm up the most. This causes ice because ice forms in the atmosphere at a warmer temperature than snow.
Eventually, it will be just rain, but normally it should be snow, not ice.
